In short: Mynt, the company behind the Philippine payments app GCash, has priced its IPO at PHP 6.60 per share, valuing it at about $7 billion. It plans to list on the Philippine Stock Exchange on 20 October 2026 under the ticker GCASH.

The numbers

  • Raise: PHP 53 billion (about $845 million), or up to PHP 60.9 billion (about $971 million) if extra shares are sold.
  • Mynt says this is the largest IPO ever on the Philippine Stock Exchange.
  • The final price is below the earlier indicated range of up to PHP 10 per share.
  • GCash had 41.5 million monthly active users in April–June 2026 and earned PHP 17.25 billion in net income in 2025, up 55%.

Why it matters

GCash is to the Philippines what PhonePe and Paytm are to India: a super-app for payments, bills, loans, savings and investments. Its debut will be watched as a test of how investors value payments apps, as Indian payments companies such as Razorpay, which has filed confidentially for an IPO, prepare to list.

Good to know

The listing date depends on final regulatory approvals and market conditions.
