Why the forecast cut matters
- Rupee growth looks better than it is: most of the 10.7% rise came from a weaker rupee. In constant currency, which removes currency moves, revenue grew only 1.5%.
- Clients are cautious: Infosys said demand remains difficult, so it now expects 1–2% growth for the full year.
- AI is growing fast: AI work rose 29% from the last quarter and is now 10.5% of revenue.
- Margins held: the company kept its 20–22% operating margin target.
