Is the Axis Bank Neo worth it?
Axis Neo costs ₹250 + GST a year from the second year, and is often lifetime free. It can save you a few thousand rupees a year, but only if you use its offers every month. Its reward points are worth almost nothing, so treat it as a discount card.
What you could save each month
| How you use it | You save |
|---|---|
| 2 Zomato orders of ₹499 or more | ₹240 |
| ₹2,500 on Blinkit (orders of ₹750 or more) | ₹250 |
| ₹3,000 of utility bills paid on Paytm | ₹150 |
| Movie tickets on BookMyShow | ₹100 |
| Total | ₹740 a month, about ₹8,900 a year |
This is the most you can save if you use every offer up to its limit. From 1 November 2026, the movie offer needs ₹25,000 of card spend in the previous 3 months. Axis Bank can change these offers at any time.
How to get the most from it
- Use the Visa card for Zomato. The Zomato offer does not work on the RuPay UPI card.
- Pay your electricity, gas and phone bills through Paytm to get 5% off.
- Book flights or hotels on Cleartrip with the card once a month for 7% off flights or 18% off hotels.
- Pay your first utility bill within 30 days to get up to ₹300 back.
Skip it if
- You rarely order on Zomato or Blinkit. A flat cashback card such as SBI Cashback or HDFC Pixel Go will suit you better.
- You want lounge access or rewards on fuel.
