Listings and allotments this week

  • Jio Platforms: allotment on 26 October, shares credited on 27 October and listing on 28 October. The ₹30,213 crore issue was subscribed 22.19 times and drew about 1.39 crore applications, the first Indian IPO to cross one crore.
  • Paras Healthcare: listing on 28 October.
  • Core4 Engineers: listing expected on 30 October.

Things to check before you apply

  • Where the money goes: the EAAA issue is entirely a sale by existing shareholders, so none of the money goes to the company. BLS Polymers and Bombay Coated are raising only fresh money for the business.
  • Recent results, not just past growth: SFC Environmental earned ₹160 crore profit in FY26, but only ₹1.48 crore in April–June 2026. M.K. Sons grew revenue from ₹217 crore in FY24 to ₹539 crore in FY26, but most of its sales come from a few showrooms in Gujarat and Mumbai.
  • The market mood: mid and small-cap shares have fallen sharply this month, which can hurt listing-day prices.
  • Don’t chase grey market premiums: they are unofficial and change quickly.
